Fighting against food insecurity

Through Elan's Across the Country Charitable Giving program, $12,500 was donated to Akron-Canton Regional Foodbank on behalf of Summit Federal Credit Union. Through a network of partners, the food bank feeds approximately 263,200 people each year through 500 food pantries, hot meal sites, shelters, and other programs.

For every $1 donated, 4 meals are distributed to neighbors in need across eight counties in northern Ohio. The Across the Country gift will provide 50,000 meals to help alleviate hunger.
